We help nonprofits and community focused organizations document and support technology environments they own entirely.
SoAtomic was built to solve a simple problem: most organizations are underserved by both DIY software and traditional agencies. DIY options leave teams alone with complex configurations, while marketing agencies often build custom, vendor-locked setups that are difficult to explain and maintain.
We operate as your technology steward. We do not sell software, computers, or fix broken screens. Instead, we focus entirely on the stability, security, and documentation of the systems you rely on every day.
By remaining intentionally small, we ensure that every client receives careful work, thorough documentation, and direct communication from a builder who knows their setup inside out.
Our Principles.
Our decisions are guided by these core principles. They shape every screen, solutions outcome, and support call.
Technology should become quieter over time.
Technology should run smoothly in the background. If you are receiving constant alerts or spending your days troubleshooting, your systems are not designed correctly.
Clients own everything.
Every domain, Google Workspace account, Cloudflare account, and website remains registered in your name and is paid for with your credentials. We have administrative access, but you retain absolute ownership.
Documentation matters.
A system you cannot explain is a system you do not own. We provide clear, comprehensive handbooks documenting your setups, permissions, and networks so you aren't dependent on any single person.
Flat-rate pricing whenever practical.
Predictable budgets lead to long-term trust. We publish our rates openly and use flat-rate plans so you never have to worry about surprise hourly bills.
No vendor lock-in.
We configure standard systems (like Google Workspace, Apple Business Manager, and Cloudflare) using industry best practices. If you ever choose to work with another provider, they can easily take over.
Explain technology clearly.
We avoid technical jargon and startup buzzwords. We explain our findings, risks, and recommendations in plain language.
Build relationships instead of dependencies.
Our responsibility is to make your team capable and your systems clear—not to make ourselves indispensable.
Stewardship over transactions.
We treat your technology, operations, and resources as if they were our own. We focus on long-term health rather than one-off sales.
Technology should be understandable.
You should not be intimidated by your own software. We design workflows and management tools that are accessible and easy to run.
Technology exists to help people do their work.
Technology is a tool to support your mission—not consume your team's time.

SoAtomic is run by Aaron Keuper—a technology advisor who spent 25 years building systems and infrastructures, managing cloud environments, and coordinating IT operations.
He enjoys helping organizations understand their technology instead of being intimidated by it. The intentional stewardship model is a deliberate choice: fewer clients, more careful work, and a relationship built on trust and stability.
